It's really the fleeting moments that hold tight in our memories. They're always small, but so potent. Sometimes is a smile, a baby's laugh, hearing waves crash under moonlight, a kiss, or even the feeling of wind on our face. Fleeting moments are happening all the time, just like particles spinning frenetically inside an atom. We won't catch them all and tuck them away in our minds, but we can be intentional about grabbing as many as we can. Taking time to just watch wind and water sweep across a field the moment the rain falls, is absolutely magical. I love that I've been blessed enough to see it so many times, and it never gets old. I love savoring those moments moments of joy even more now, and holding on to them; always feeling grateful that I didn't miss them.
