I've started kayaking this year to get closer to the scenes I want to paint...why didn't I do this sooner?! Launching out pre-dawn under a full moon has become one of my favorite means of wonder seeking! This was the September moon around 6am on a chilly, misty morning. It was pure magic and worth every ounce of effort to get out on the middle of a lake to witness.
