The sister painting to Total Eclipse of the Moon, Before the Eclipse was my response while waiting those few moments before the Earth temporarily broke the connection between the moon and sun. It was beaming so brilliantly and I was so grateful for a clear night! I had 2 sheets of watercolor paper prepared and waiting, so I could run inside and quickly produce a before and after painting.
