If the idea of a painting born from your own property speaks to you—perhaps charcoal from fallen branches on your land, minerals tucked in the soil, or dye-bearing plants I carefully select on site—I’d love to create something truly singular for you. These are exclusive collaborations: pigments come exclusively from materials found on your property (wood charcoal, suitable minerals, or organic dye sources I determine viable), then layered into a watercolor that captures the place’s unique rhythm, light, and story. No two commissions can ever be the same, because no two places are. This level of personal sourcing, testing, and ritual makes each piece a rare heirloom—far beyond a standard painting. Pricing reflects that exclusivity and the added depth of process:
  • Starting range: $2,500–$6,000+ (unframed), depending on size, complexity, material gathering, travel, and vision.
  • Smaller intimate works may begin around $2,500; larger or more involved pieces often fall in the $4,000–$8,000 range or higher.
  • All quotes are personalized and provided after I review reference materials (photos, descriptions, or a quick video of your property and key views).
Consultations are free if within a short drive of my location—happy to meet on-site if possible. For greater distances, a travel allowance (based on mileage, time, and any lodging) is collected as part of the initial deposit to cover the visit and material gathering. If you're ready to explore bringing a piece of your land to life on paper, send me a note via the form below. Include photos or details about the property, a favorite view or element, and any size/feel preferences—I’ll review and respond with thoughts and base estimate. No obligation.
